The story of flowers

It was a sunny day in the meadow where Daisy the flower grew. She blossomed brightly in the warm sunlight along with her friends – Tulips, Daffodils, Roses and Violets. They were having a lively debate.

“I’m the most beautiful flower in this meadow!” declared Tulip, showing off her vivid red petals.

“No, it’s me!” insisted Rose, exhibiting her elegant pink buds.

The flowers began to argue. Each one believed they were better than the rest. Their yelling and bickering went on for hours.

Daisy didn’t join the argument. She simply enjoyed the sunlight and softly swayed in the breeze. Daisy didn’t care who was the most beautiful.

Finally, Tulip, Rose, and the others stopped fighting. They were tired and had ruined the lovely day with their jealousy.

Just then, a group of children came dancing through the meadow, picking flowers to take home. They picked Tulips, Roses, Violets and more, saying that every flower was special and beautiful in its own way.

The flowers realized then that each had their own unique gifts. There was no need to compete. From that day forward, they lived happily together in the meadow.
